PLEASE BE SURE TO ADD AN ASTERISK (*) TO EACH SEARCH IN ORDER TO OBTAIN REASONABLE RESULTS. Researchers in the United States, England, and Russia have assembled the first draft of a bibliography of wood in aquatic systems and riparian areas as part of the International Conference on Wood in World Rivers. We have incorporated various sources of information that are available to the public and scientific community through journals, libraries, and agencies. The draft version of the bibliography was developed to stimulate and irritate researchers from around the world to provide citations that we have not located. References cited in abstracts by contributors at the conference or references that will be included in the book chapters to be submitted by invited speakers have not yet been incorporated because we have not had an opportunity to verify the information in the citations. We ask anyone to provide publicly available citations, and we would appreciate receiving a copy of the first page or a citation page by FAX or mail so that we can verify the accuracy of the citations. The bibliography can be "searched" in various ways and printed. Additionally, selected references can be exported directly to: Reference Manager v8/v7 or ProCite v4/v3 database, a text file formatted in the National Library of Medicine MEDLARS format, or a text file formatted in Research Informations System RIS Format. Please send any corrections or additions to the address provided below.
